Italy has been at the top of my list since 1983 when I took a contiki tour around Europe. Even though specific memories from that trip are sketchy, one thing that stuck in my mind after visiting Florence was the amazing view of the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio from Piazza Michelangelo. since then, I have always said that Florence was my most favourite city in the world, and after this trip, I can still say the same.
After months and months of planning, we set off on October 1st 2009 for our trip of a lifetime.
After a fairly uneventful stopover in Seoul, we arrived in Milan late afternoon on 2/10.
